This is a time for communicating with loved ones who have crossed over, as well as reflect on the coming year ahead as we step from the warmth of summer to the cold of winter. This is also Halloween, a time of shadows and monsters and all things unseen being seen. It is a night of chills and scares and candy, candy- apples and toilet papered houses. For modern witch-folk, it is a day of not only walking between the worlds of the living and the dead, honoring our ancestors as our forebears once did, but also walking the line between the realms of magick and modern holiday interpretation.
