I guess the best way would be to take a walk in the woods. Sit by a riverbank or a stream. Cut open an apple and contemplate the pentacle within. Look in the face of another person. Count the stars at night. Sleep, dream, and record the experiences...learn the lessons and apply them to ones' life. Enjoy fireflies...they've never ceased to bring me pleasure after all these years...both beautiful and gentle. Smile at the ladybugs who turn up in the most unusual places. Orange ones and yellow ones. Wake up before dawn and go in the backyard...everything is shady and green...shadows and light playing games in the leaves. Light breezes playing with the leaves and my hair. Watering my garden...and the grass. Putting down grass seed and watching it sprout. Taking a barren spot and making it thrive. This is magick. Getting up every day, doing the best one can, interacting with all living things. Respecting the earth and her treasures. If taking, then giving in equal measure. This is magick. Living the good life...having enough to eat, a home, paying for expenses, having animal companions, family and friends to share with. This is magick. Being happy and living joyously, knowing that every day is a gift. This is magick. Yes, there is magick that is performed by doing spells...using ones' will and working with divinity to create wanted and needed changes in this world. But life is Magick! The spells are constantly in motion if we take the time to see. Hope everone is having a magickal day.
