The Wheel is turning, turning, turning...we have reached that balance between the light and the dark...a time to clear away the old and began to think about implementing the new. Time to shine the light of renewal and regeneration on our lives, time to affirm and reaffirm ourselves as a people, time to find strength not only in our faith, but the faith we have in ourselves. Imbolc is a blessed time...a time that reminds us that even though we may be locked in winter, that the promise of spring is just around the corner. Tonight when I finally settle in, I will set up the altar, light the candles and smoldering incense, cast the circle and give thanks the the Goddess and the God for the opportunities they have given me this past year, and for the opportunities that are ahead in the season of light. For though we dwell in darkness, our hearts live in the light. Once ritual is over, I will walk from room to room and turn on all the lights...including the balcony light...I welcome the return of the light, I welcome the return of the light. Blessed Be.
